yes some medication is safe, go to your doctor and tell him. Depression is common when your pregnant, your not the only one I was the entire time. But get to your doctor as soon as you can please.
your hormones cause your emotions and feelings to change a lot. I wouldnt be worried I’m sure things will get better
but talk to your ob/gyn please. I dont recall being depressed that early…. I was so happy with being pregnant.. DONT TAKE MEDS FOR DEPRESSION UNLESS YOUR DOC PRESCRIBES THEM !
You need to go in and see your doctor. This is a serious problem and it needs to be taken care of. The doctor may be able to prescribe you a medication that is safe while you are pregnant. Good luck to you hon and congrats on your pregnancy.
I am 12 weeks pregnant and taking Celexa. It is a category c drug but my doc said I could keep on taking it and even had the pharmacy send me some papers on it. I was taking it prior to the pregnancy though.
There are meds you can take, ask your doc. It is VERY important not to feel this way during pregnancy, please call your doc, they will put you on something appropriate.
depending on where you are in the world their are different people you can call or get help from
but first i think you should ask to speak to your gp, also their are groups in UK call samaritans helpline or to email or face to fae chat, were you an talk through problems and they give advice, depending on where you live though their should be other organisations.
but just try and take little steps, make sure you relax get time for you to have bath and relax, try just going to local shop or little walk to get out, make one on one time with family members, like your kids, husband but im sure advice from gp or help from organisation like samaritans would help you to know where to start. they have website you can look at
you could tell your husband you are feeling low and he will support you and understand, and help you with getting some advice, you don’t have to keep this to yourself, their is never any harm in asking out or telling people that are close how you feel, most will want to support you in every way they can
hope you feel better soon
