Congratulations! In nine months you’re going to be a mother, BUT it will never be an easy task. Your body will physically experience changes, your moods will swing, your senses will be sharp, and you’ll crave for a lot of things — and food.
As an expecting mother, what you EAT matters to your unborn baby as he or she is dependent on you for nourishment. In pregnancy check-ups, your doctor might tell you this mantra: you are what you eat, and what your baby eats. Clinical studies show that what you eat has a connection to your baby’s health and growth, which is why during pregnancy, it is essential that you make “healthy food choices” and “healthy habits”. Healthy habits like exercising, “quitting on smoking and alcohol,” and taking up pregnancy vitamins are as essential as eating nutritional diet.

How many times does a parent have to remind their child about contraception and sexually transmitted diseases. What does it take for a parent to be heard. Some children just do not listen and choose to ignore the best advice any parent can give to their child. It is hard for a parent to see their child raising a child. Unwanted pregnancies are sad situations, however if the damage is done then face up to your responsibilities

Reduction mammaplasty is one of the most frequently performed operations in plastic surgery. In addition to the functional aspects of reducing the size of hypertrophic breasts to relieve patients of the adverse effects of macromastia on the musculoskeletal system, the psychological aspects of this operation have become increasingly important. Along with continuous technical advances in the performance of reduction mammaplasty that have contributed to increased safety, reliability, and aesthetic outcome, the expectations of patients have changed accordingly. Whereas older women who have experienced chronic back pain, inframammary intertrigo, and impaired physical activity for many years are often reluctant to accept the visible squeal of surgery, younger women are often more apprehensive of the prospect of trading large breasts without scars for smaller breasts with visible and sometimes unsightly scars. The psychological impact of operation scars should not be underestimated.
Another main object in reduction mammaplasty is the creation of a symmetric and youthful breast shape that remains stable for many years. A considerable proportion of the women who undergo this procedure are of fertile age. Consequently, a number of studies have been conducted to investigate the effects of this surgical procedure on breastfeeding potential. Some authors state that the sculpture of ?aps during mammaplasty may impair breastfeeding potential, depending on the surgical technique adopted.

Pregnancy And Ovulation
Of the two phases of a women’s monthly cycle, ovulation is the shortest phase, yet the most crucial for those looking for to get pregnant and individuals looking for to avoid pregnancy all together. Occurring on the 14th day of a common 28-day cycle, the ovulation period usually lasts from 24-72 hours. Lets go over the different ways to test for your ovulation cycle. As the ovulation phase approaches, your blood supply to your ovaries increase and the ligaments contract, pulling the ovary closer to the fallopian tubes and allowing the egg, once released, to find its way into the tube. Pregnancy And Ovulation
Just before ovulation, a woman’s cervix secretes a lot of clear “fertile mucous” which is always stretchy. Some women use daily mucous monitoring to help determine if they’re fertile. Mucous monitoring consists of physically testing the discharge from your vagina. By using two fingers, you take a sample from your vaginal area and look at the mucous. If it’s thick, creamy or white in color, and if it breaks apart easily as you spread your fingers apart, you’re not quite at your ovulation cycle. If it looks like egg whites and is extremely thin, allowing you to separate your fingers dramatically without breakage, chances are you’re at your small window of opportunity and ovulation has arrived.

I got depressed in my last pregnancy too. I think it’s the constant fatigue and morning sickness in the 1st trimester. I remember in my first pregnancy it went away sometime in the first trimester, but right now it’s kicking my butt and I have 1 year old twins to take care of. They’re waking up from their nap, playing in their cribs together, and I’m dreading getting them up! How awful is that? They’re happy right now and I’m on my way in… sigh. But does anyone have any advice? I don’t want to take pills.
Thanks!

I have been extremely depressed and currently 22 weeks pregnant. I don’t think there is a day I don’t cry at least once and I just want to sleep and not move. I’ll have a better day here and there, but the good days seem to be fewer and fewer.
I totally don’t want to take any medicines at all b/c I know it can pass to the baby and no medicine is 100% safe. I already have an autistic child and I don’t want to do anything that may cause me to think a defect may be my fault later.

It has been proved that women are more vulnerable to certain diseases then men. Smoking is an example. Though smoking as such is not a disease yet women are much more susceptible to the harms of smoking than men are. On similar lines it has been proved recently that women are more prone to the dangerous mental disorder depression.
