What are you waiting for? It’s “bedtime”
Talk to him, be supportive, and if he gets worse you have to report him. It’s for his safety, your safety, and the safety of others. Medication also helps. it doesn’t make you weak either. =) Also, he needs to realize that things happen but that he can always try again. They can work on this together and can make it happen.

59% of Americans are deficient in the extremely important vitamin D3, with their lowest levels occurring in late winter, and early spring. People with the lowest levels are 11 times more likely to suffer depression.
In the winter months, if not getting sufficient daily exposure to strong light, see http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articl… Go to a doctor and ask for a 25(OH)D, also called 25-hydroxyvitamin D, blood test. When you get the results, don’t follow the typical “normal” reference range, as these are too low. The OPTIMAL value that you’re looking for is 45-52 ng/ml (115-128 nmol/l)”. The company which tests your levels has to be one of those using the correct form of test, and this topic is addressed via the searchbar at Mercola.com – “vitamin D3; testing”.
Dr. J. Cannell, of the VitaminDcouncil.org advises that the co-factors necessary to optimise its absorption, and utilisation are magnesium, zinc, boron, and vitamin K2. I recommend using either health food/vitamin stores, or Googling: ” … ; supplies” rather than risking any old, or substandard products at supermarkets, or even on pharmacy shelves. The best dietary source of vitamin K2 is natto. ~~~ Grassrootshealth D action http://www.grassrootshealth.net/daction offer cost price postal 25(OH)D testing
10,000iu/daily is generally regarded as safe daily upper limit and it is worth checking AFTER you have been using effective strength supplements for 3 months to make sure you have achieved as safe level according to Dr Mercola’s suggestions.

Dr. J. Cannell, at http://vitaminDcouncil.org is now recommending 10,000 iu of vitamin D3, ( NOT VITAMIN D2! ) daily, for depressed people.

More letters “Vitamin D deficiency is but one cause of major depression; there are lots of others. However, I now recommend that anyone struggling with depression should take at least 10,000 IU /day with frequent 25(OH)D blood tests to assure levels of at least 100 ng/ml and to monitor for toxicity”.
Those with the lowest levels are 11 times more likely to be depressed (www.mercola.com).
A deficiency in calcium can also cause depression; vitamin D3 is needed so it is utilised, and good levels of magnesium ensures it is deposited on bones, (preferably with some weight bearing exercise) where it belongs, rather than in blood vessels.

Wow. Just continue to let him know that you love him and you’re there for him. Try to spend a lot of time with him. He probably has a lot going on inside, so he most likely wants someone to just listen and understand. Just listen to what he has to say, be gentle when responding to his emotions. Try not to be too harsh with your words, but let him know hurting himself isn’t the answer. Overall, just make sure he feels loved, he’ll thank you once he pulls himself out of it. Good luck.
Cutting himself, killing himself and hurting others will not bring this child back to life. The sooner he realizes that, the soon he can gain some closure.
He will be a father..in time.It was not time for him to be a father. For some reason, that little soul was not meant to be here yet.He should take advantage of this time to get his life straightened out so when he does eventually have kids, he can be a good father to him.hell, he doesnt even know for sure if it was his kid or not.
someday he will have his baby.for his depression, he should seek some kind of loos counseling…there should be loss forums online for those who lose their children.
