Researches show that teenage girls suffer from various social and personal difficulties. Anxiety, depression, obsession, phobias, negative thoughts and poor self esteem is observed in them .Hypertension, lower genital tract infections, pre-mature delivery, caesarian section, iron deficiency and low birth babies are observed more in teen mothers ( PRAMS, 2002 ; Gupta, 1994). Teenage mothers are seen to be initiating breast feed late ( Yi Kung Park, 2003 ). They smile less, make poor eye contact, physical contact with infant than adult mother (Culp, 1988). The present research aims to study whether similar problems are observed in the culture where teenage pregnancy is socially encouraged . Tools - To conduct the present study two standardized tools were used. The first one was Indian adoption of Goldberg’s General Health Questionnaire by Dr. Shiv Gautam, Madan Nizhawan and Preet Kamal (1987) and second one was Mental Health Inventory by Dr. Jagdish and , Dr. A.K . Shrivastav . The main components of the tool were Positive Evaluation, Perception of Reality, Integration of Personality, Autonomy ,Group oriented attitudes and Environmental mastery .
Locale of study- The sample was selected from the Malsisar and Ghav villages of Hanumangarh districts of Rajasthan.

Obviously you are aware that having a baby and preparing for the birth of your newborn can be a very thrilling yet stressful period of your life. Even the tiniest issues can feel too much to handle.

Question by Brittaney: what’s the difference between anxiety symptoms & pregnancy symptoms?
My stomach has been really tight and tense lately and i’ve been really tired.But i worry constantly about crazy things that could/couldn’t happen.
I looked it up and that explained that i have something called GAD (General Anxiety Disorder)
But i thought maybe the stomach symptoms could be pregnancy ones..Someone help?

Almost every woman is blessed with the capacity to bear a child at least once in her lifetime. It is considered to be one of the greatest gifts that a woman can give her husband. Bearing a child would make the couple more closer together, and at this certain point in their lives they can actually call themselves a family. umm ok soo i’ve been experiening some odd symptoms lately… some similar to pregnancy ( im 18 soo pregnancy is not what i want right now) i have had heartburn, gas, some cramps (but im also supposed to get my period in a few days) and stomach pains…. i have bad anxiety mainy panic attacks and was border line ulcer a few weeks ago …so the doctor gave me nexium samples….. anyways…. does this sound like my stress/anxiety ??? i mean i am gettin ready to move out for college etc… soo im super stressed… or could i be pregnant cuz my boyfriend and i have had unprotected sex like 2 times this month but im on birthcontrol and the rest of the time was w/ a condom

also noticed today that my breasts feel a little different…like rubbery sorta,,and a tad bigger???

I’m TTC, and I’m feeling a little anxious. I have no reason to do so, but I’m really stressing out. I think it’s because I’m so worried about a miscarriage. I’m also worried that the baby will have problems.
