Has anyone ever taken antidepressants for post partum depression?
Did they work? I’m scared to have another pregnancy because I get PPD so severe and it lasts for almost 2 years. I’ve never taken antidepressants for it however and wanted to know if they have helped anyone. I have one living child and my other pregnancy after her ended in miscarriage. I’m thinking of ttc in a few months. Thanks

I had HORRIBLE PPD after I had my son in 2007. Everything seemed to be piling up on me I had to have a c-section and my husband was leaving to go to IRAQ for 15 months and I was in Germany with no other family. I was put on Zoloft and it done WONDERS for me . Don’t be scared to take something it really does help.
I am on them for PPD! Zoloft is like my happy pill! & they didn’t work for me after my father died so I guess if you are happy with your life situation but have a chemical imbalance, they work!
