If you have a child with autism/anxiety/adhd,were you severely emotionally stressed during pregnancy?Plz help?
I read a article that links stress to autism. Stress between weeks 24 and 28.
I am a very anxious person and now during pregancy its gone haywire.
I blow up things out of proportion, have irrational thoughts that never leave my brain for days and make me feel down and give me headaches.
Unfortunately all this is happening more in the weeks 22 onward for me and I am soooo worried.
Please give me your experiences.

I am a guy so I have only been pregnant 0 times. But this is what I heard Dr. Drew say. You know he is on Loveline.
Worrying about what you already did is not going to help it will just make matters worse. Why haven’t you talked about this with your doctor or a psychiatrist? They are the best ones equipped to answer your questions about what you can do to help your little BAYBEE. I spell it like that because that is my way of being anti establishment.
this is 1 of 2 things
1) you are just a pregnant mom and your hormones and your mother instinct is taking over. Mothers will KILL anyuthing that tries to harm their baybee. That is your mother instinct.
OR… and I mean a very possible OR:
You need to get some therapy for the sake of your child, you need to be an emotionally healthy and emotionally available mom. otherwise your child is going to grow up feeling unsafe.
If mom is a mess then the child will not be able to feel secure and will not want to venture out into the world.
So, your love for your little one is not in question.
You already want what is best for your baybee so that means that you have alot of love to give. You just need to find better ways of delivering that love. You need like a mental and emotional filter that filters out all the impurities of your love.
You child will thank you for it.
I wish my parents had my needs in mind when they were raising me. You seem like you have your child’s needs in mind.
I have two sons
With my first son during my pregnancy my husband and I started going through some marriage problems where we just about separated also my doctor told me that I had cervical cancer during this time. Very stressful nine months….my son was born normal and has not ever had any issues.
During my second pregnancy no stress, marriage was great, pregnancy went fine….my second son has severe autism.
