Yeah, weird huh
this is normal. they r called mood swings
You need to contact your doctor immediately. She will help you.
Don’t let anybody tell you that this is normal. If you are depressed now, you could be putting stress on your child. That is not a good thing, it could cause you to go into preterm labor and many other things. I suggest that you talk to your doctor about how you are feeling so that he/she can help you get through this. Congratulations on the pregnancy.
p.s
i felt the same way.
Is this your first pregnancy? I would definitely mention it to your doctor as soon as possible. It is awful to feel that way without being pregnant much less pregnant, I am no sure what they would do for you, but, it is something that need attention immediately, don’t take it as a personal attack. I have to take medication to not feel that way around people, but I sure feel for you being pregnant and all, you didn’t mention your age. I hope you find some sort of relief, maybe just talking with a counselor or something will help you a lot.
Lots of luck to you,
Tonya
I had this when I was pregnant, normally it happens with those who have previous histories of depression/anxiety but it will happen to those who have never even had it. I know it’s hard especially since you can’t take anything really, but the really only way you can get rid of it is medication, and there are risks and benefits of medication, but the benefits will always outweigh the risks because a happy mom and a positive attitude is always needed for the baby. I didn’t take any medicine because I was paranoid that it would hurt the baby since I had a miscarriage before this pregnancy, so I just looked into buddhism, that and meditation helped me out so much. Definatly talk to your ob, though. I’m sorry you’re feeling this way
if you need anyone to talk to please email me, I’m always willing to listen and help out
hope everything gets better, and congrats on your little one.
yes, i suggest at your next visit to your doctor or midwife, bring this up in conversation. your mental health is just as important as your physical. its not uncommon for hormones to make us feel a little nutty alot of the time.
You need to get to your doctor imediately!
thats one of the reason why i lost my daughter Desiree novemberr (‘o8)
&& i was 1 weeks shy of beinq 9 months soo get to yur doc.!
I had extreme anxiety while I was pregnant. I was too scared to say anything at first because I thought that people would think something was wrong with me and that they would think I was going to be a bad mother. I finally broke down and went to see a counselor. After my first visit with her, she knew I had a problem with anxiety. The thing was, I wasn’t fooling anyone but myself. She wrote a note to the gynecologist who had a meeting with me. I was put on Zoloft for anxiety. I took 1/2 a pill a day to help with the anxiety and it was not harmful to the baby. It helped me tremendously. Now that the baby is here, I am no longer on any medication and I am not anxious or depressed at all. I think it had something to do with the hormones during pregnancy. Talk to your doctor! That’s what he/she is there for. Good luck to you!
I have a mild form of paranoid schizophrenia and I am 17 weeks pregnant. Although, stress is normal during pregnancy. I don’t know any pregnant women who don’t worry or stress while pregnant, it is an amazing experience. It certainly is life changing, I don’t know why you’re so concerned about this.
Talk to your doctor maybe? Theres not much you can do.
Sorry to hear your having a rough time but with all the hormones and insanity that your body is going through it makes Sense that your mental state is off kilter as well. talk to your doc, you may get anti depressants and yes they have safe ones. but more than likely you’ll be offered counseling.I had the same problem only i’m bi polar so mine got way out of hand and the counseling really helps just remember express all your feelings and be honest with them! they are not there to judge just help and if your not happy with a your counselor get a new one. good luck oh also try keeping a journal wright all your thoughts down good and bad ….no matter how bad… that helps to, it’s like emptying your head of all the negativity.
