pregnancy & stress how to deal with it?
Finally after a yr of trying my husband & I just found out we are expecting our first child. I have been very stressed out between work and some people doing things to intentinally get me mad and I try to let go and I can’t. Before I would have a glass of wine and it would help a lot is there any safe herbal remedies or things I could do to help. I feel like I just cannot let go and I know its not healthy. I am really worried about this just because I am already very emotional and this is the last thing I need

Normally i would work out at the gym before i found out i was prego but how about a walk to relieve some stress.
i used to smoke cigarettes, drink and go clubbing to release my tension and stress.
when i gave that lifestyle up for my baby during pregnancy i found that the stress was unbearable. I ended up seeing a counselor, and it made the world of difference.
just being able to vent all your troubles helped me tremendously. Also keeping a journal helps – you can lash out on the page until you feel better.
What about a nice warm bath.. with lavender oil in it!
That will de-stress you…
Or even go to bed and put some lavender oil on your pillow, or some lavender under your pillow, that will also destress you : )!

First off congratulations on being pregnant! I know that this is going to sound hard but you need to try and relax. You have been trying for a year. You should be thrilled! I have high anxiety and the best thing for me to do when im really stressed is to either take a nice warm hot shower, or to read. I’ve never really been big into reading but since I cant really get up and go out shopping it seems to be working =) Maybe a nice book with a hot caffeine free tea. Try to avoid stressful situations. Much easier said then done I know but hang in there and enjoy being pregnant.! =)
