By now, almost everyone knows that fish oils are good for you, but do you know specifically why? Before taking any supplements, it is important to know which oils are the best, and what makes them the best. Cold water fish, particularly salmon, sardines, mackerel and tuna, are the best choices for a good dose of omega 3s. Omega 3s are essential fatty acids that cannot be obtained by the body in any other way except through diet. The problem is that many people do not like the taste of fish, or they cannot prepare it for meals because someone in their family dislikes fish. This is where the popular fish oil supplement comes in handy.
It is very important to make sure you get omega 3s in your diet. In a world of chemically treated environs, foods and products, omega 3s help protect you from heart disease which is a concern for anyone who eats processed foods and lives in a world with pollutants. Omega 3s are important for reasons other than protection from disease. They can also protect you from mental health issues. It has been well-documented that people whose diets are rich in omega 3s are less prone to depression and anxiety, and have better overall mental health and a more positive outlook on life.

It is totally understandable that women want to take the best care of themselves during pregnancy and fish oil supplements are something that can benefit the health of both the mother and the fetus. It used to be believed that the benefits of DHA rich omega-3 fish oil could not effectively be passed on from mother to child, but that belief has since been proven wrong.
The theory was that a baby would benefit from DHA supplementation in infancy, but not before birth. The benefits of high levels of DHA on cognitive development were well known, which is why many companies began producing infant formula that contained DHA. This was a positive step, but more can be done to maximize the development of your child.

Some people drink alcohol occasionally or socially during special dinners or cocktails. Others use it to steady their nerves before making that very important speech or scheduled public appearance. Still, others who are suffering from a sleep disorder drink a generous amount of alcohol to get themselves that much-needed rest and sleep. So, who says that alcohol is bad? Even the Bible agrees with its medicinal properties as cited in the Old and New Testaments no less that 191 times.
We all know that alcohol is a by-product of fruits, grains or vegetables through a process called fermentation. It makes use of yeast or bacteria to change the sugars in the food into alcohol which may come in different forms for purposes of cleaning, as antiseptic, and as a depressant or sedative.

It is sad to know that over 7 million couples at some given time are going through infertility concerns. Infertility issues in our communities are far more common than you may think. It is a documented fact that over 12% of women of age are having difficulties conceiving and giving birth to a child. Of course the issue can lay with either partner, with about 50% due to the female, 40% the male partner and the rest typically unexplained. So the good news to all infertile women is that you are not alone in this and because it is such a huge problem, much has been accomplished in natural and medical treatments.
Though there are so many people in the world who are suffering form infertility, many of them do not end up treating it. There are quite many women who end up adopting babies, after failing to naturally conceiving and giving birth to their own kid. Adopting is not a bad idea, but before resulting to that, you should try all the possible ways to cure your infertility, get pregnant and give birth to you own healthy baby.

Most women who become pregnant let themselves go only to regret the consequences later on. You can be active and fit with a good understanding of how to go about exercise but when it comes to pregnancy, your current workouts won’t suffice. That’s why you need to become better educated to avoid stacking on the pounds in all the wrong places and to pave the way for an easy labour.
Firstly, you need to understand your body type. There are four basic body types and designing a suitable exercise program requires an understanding of your body structure. What may be appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for another. Proper body diagnosis is essential to understand and consider when designing a pregnancy fitness program.

My bf has made this pregnancy unbearable. I decided after graduating college to spend the summer with him instead of moving back home with my family and friends. It was a bad decision. I should’ve put my foot down and gone home and said if he wanted to follow he could. But now, I’m stuck. I have a job here, low paying but still a job, and feel like it’s too late to go home at this point. I’m over $2000 in debt and I’m scared to take the risk of moving when I don’t know if I’ll find a job if I go back.
Should I let the money issue go and depend on my family now and hope my education will see me through later or do I suck it up for the next 8 weeks, make the money I need to while living on 2 hours of sleep a night and having too much stress?

It is always important to take whatever steps you can to be healthy, but while you are pregnant it is even more important: not only do you need to take good care of yourself, you are also profoundly affecting the life of another person – your baby. Here’s 7 tips to help you along the way.
1.If you smoke, one of the most important things you can do is to stop smoking: babies born to mothers who smoke have a lower average birth weight, are more likely to be born prematurely, and are at greater risk of death from sudden infant death syndrome than babies of non-smokers. Sometimes mothers feel having a low birth weight baby could be an advantage as it will make the baby easy to deliver. This is not necessarily the case, as it may lead to an emergency delivery, which can result in all sorts of complications. Even if you are already pregnant, stopping smoking will benefit the baby for the rest of your pregnancy. It is not only the baby who benefits. You are likely to suffer from less morning sickness, experience fewer complications and have a more contented baby after the birth.

When searching for the best pregnancy nutrition, be aware that it is better to consume vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that are attached to whole foods, not isolated. Whole food nutrients are much easier for the body to absorb, whereas isolated vitamins and minerals are often flushed out before the body can break them down to use for fuel. There are some excellent all natural, low carb, high fiber food formulas that provide perfect pregnancy nutrition in health drink concentrates. These concentrates make it easy for expectant mothers to get the nutrients they need for perfect pregnancy nutrition.

Many of my dear friends are pregnant right now and I often find myself answering questions for them, so I thought I’d share my own experiences and knowledge with you. If you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant, this is your lucky day!
First of all, many of us spend years trying NOT to get pregnant, so when we are finally ready to go for it our bodies aren’t always up for the challenge. Don’t expect to get pregnant the first time you try (although many people do). The statistic that I often hear quoted from fertility specialists is that 80% of couples will conceive within the first year of trying. Those are pretty good odds!
