What are some exercises to help calm emotional distress?

I am pregnant & recently found out some very troubling things about my siblings.
I vary between tears & sadness pretty much all day now.
Just don’t want to get worse & have this affect my pregnancy or my family.
Any good suggestions are welcomed!

The best exersise that will calm your emotions is yoga.
Yoga exercises for pregnant woman are wonderful. You could also star with a few minutes of meditation a day and later increment it as you become comfortable with the process. I am sure this would have a great effect in your baby who can feel your emotions too.
I agree with the other posters. Yoga and Meditation. I’m Christian and don’t see anything wrong with it since I haven’t used it to draw closer to shiva, barney or ganesh. Only to occasionally calm my nerves when I have to not sleep 2 days in a row or something.
