I went though it 3 times. I went the other direction as far as colors go. I have 3 butterflies. One in all different colors for all the emotions I felt. How happy I was when I found out I was pregnant, nervousness about the first OB appt, the sorrow of the loss, all wrapped up in a peacock butterfly. The second is red and black. How angry I felt that it happened a second time. The third is blues and whites for peace knowing that all their little souls are happy with other families. I now have a forth for my god daughter who means the world to me. It's green and yellow. The colors she looks best in. I will be adding a fifth one soon for my nephew who is bright and vibrant and lovable. His will be bright oranges. I hope that the anniversary passes with minimal sorrow for you.
